Lancer, Filipinos have been wearing flipflops and other soft pliable footwears to the mall without any incident, if you read all the accidents involving crocs, you will notice that all of them invovles children, Interesting fact. It also states that any soft pliable footwear like flipflops are dangerous, I just wonder why crocs were mentioned by name when flipflops like havianas poses the same danger. Just curious
But tama yun warning mo, It always pays to be cautious thanks for the heads up

kahit shoelace pwede maipit sa escalator (but i guess they don't need to put that in the news). i guess popular lang ang crocs kaya napapa-headline...

is it because of the rubbery material of crocs that made it prone to get stuck on the sides? i would suggest a band of slippery plastic should be placed on sides of the escalator (lets say 6 inches) to prevent this from happening again..

hindi din safe kahit they put the brush like thing, kids are so curious and they want to try anything, try to stop and tie your shoe at the end of escalator full of people, specially on the up-going one, |

ako binili ko pa din ang kids ko eh its my obligation anyway to take care or look after my kids. but the incidents helped us to be more cautious laluna when using escalators |

sorry for the dumb question pero how do you determine the correct size of the crocs that you buy? ganito kasi problema ko. yung size 10 exact lang sa foot ko. i was told to get the next larger size kasi masakit daw sa toes yung size 10 lalo na pag matagal mo na suot yung crocs. tama ba? parang 1/2 to 3/4 inch yung allowance kasi nung size 11.

Crocs should not fit like other shoes. They should fit very loosely. The sides of your foot should not really touch the sides of the shoe. Your toes should never make contact with the front of the shoe. Once you have centered your foot on the foot-bed: You should have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space in front of your toes, behind your heel and when you lift the strap you should be able to comfortably get your finger between the strap and heel. In other words the fit should be “loose”. I know that this goes against everything that you have ever been used to in a shoe, but these are the parameters that the shoe was designed to be worn under. http://www.crocs.com.ph/footwear_sizeinfo.php |
