Yeah, probably, if the battery was my only consideration.

Just an update on this, I just flashed it to a Custom ROM, as per suggestion ng mga "master-master" daw there at Facebook. I want to observe this for a couple of days and gather data, before I make my final judgement on the battery issue ...

Meron na. In fact, most of Cherry Mobile's Android Smartphones like the Flare have been "ported" already, thanks to college programmers doing it as a hobby and way to practice their craft. That's one of the selling points of the CM Android Smartphones these days: They are cheap, and with custom ROM support pa.

Unfortunately, just like my experiences before with custom ROMs the past decade, they are BUGGY. What do you expect from college kids trying to write code on their spare time? My Titan TV's video is now not working, and you see some "Android is upgrading" issue when you reboot. Aayusin na lang daw sa susunod na update, LOL.

Update on the "Jumping Battery Value" issue on my S320: It only happens when you use the REBOOT option from the Power Button option. If you choose the "Power Off" option, and then just manually turn on the unit, it almost does not happen. There is still a minute change, but it is almost negligible, from 0-1%.

It is interesting to note that other Smartphones like the SE LT18i and MyPhone A919 does NOT offer a rebooting option from the Power Button Menu. It is only convenient to have that rebooting option when you are doing mods to your unit, but it seems to have adverse effect, hence I would recommend NOT using it, and perhaps Cherry Mobile can remove that option from their future Smartphones.

Still have other battery problems, though, like that 4-5 hour charging time, and only 1 1/2 days of battery life.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: I just remembered that the phone has a "Quick Boot" option, which could explain the lack of "battery value jump". HOWEVER, even if you disable the Quick Boot option (Settings -> Accessibility -> Disable/Enable Quick Boot), you still will NOT see the battery value jumping issue when you MANUALLY turn the phone off and then on again. So the blame lies squarely on the Reboot function.

I think I found the solution to the battery drain issue, and it turned out to be as simple as disabling the Quick Boot option (Settings -> Acccessibilty -> Disable Quick Boot). It will take a couple of days to gather data, but the results seem promising, battery life now is okay, at least 2 days of normal use.

The A919's screen in terms of clarity and brightness is VASTLY superior to that of the Titan TV. However, no matter how good the A919's screen maybe, it is still smaller than the S320's screen. So in the end, I still prefer the S320's screen.

Overall, I think MyPhone offers more polished packaging. Small details like, marking on the batteries, etc. show that MyPhone offers phones with packaging at par with the large manufacturers out there like SE, Samsung, etc.

OTOH, Cherry Mobile offers phones which obviously sacrifice packaging and appearance for the price. A white charger, coupled with a black cord? Their white model only has a white back cover, while having a black bezel? How about the external buttons integrated into the back cover, so when you remove it, the raw innards of the buttons are exposed?

More importantly, MyPhone's units work right out of the box, no hassles. Sa CM, "Sariling Sikap". LOL. Good thing I know a thing or two about phones.

Right now, though, I am partial to the Titan TV. Nakatsamba lang ata ang CM na maganda ang Titan TV overall than the A919. The bigger screen is better, and it is faster in terms of muscle power ...

I'm getting around 2 days now with "normal" use, meaning Call, Text, Wifi, Gaming, etc. This is after I disabled the Quick Boot option.

just got a unit yesterday, still testing. medyo mabagal mag load from play store. i tried Raging thunder, ang tagal mag load, kala ko, di kaya, iniwan ko lang, then after a few minutes ready na. great for viewing videos or reading books/magazine sa bed. basically intended ko sya as 3g tablet. so far, ok na ko sa kanya. w/o rooting pa. battery seems to be pretty decent naman. (coming from 4s user).

Here's another review of the S320, this time the reviewer had problems with the battery overheating. In fairness, he did not state which games caused the overheating, and for how long was he playing the games before the battery overheated. I have been playing relatively simple games like "Subway Surfers", "Angry Birds Star Wars" and "Temple Run 2" on my unit for up to 10 minutes maximum, and have not encountered the problem.

IMHO, the Titan TV is best as a BACK UP Tablet where you can do on-the-go surfing and social media, as well as some games. But if it is the only tablet you will have, and you use it for really serious and long gaming, its not gonna do. For one, the battery is too low for that at only 2.5k mAh. In contrast, the iPad, depending on the model, is at least 3 times as large in terms of capacity ...

After 2 months, my Titan TV is out, for some reason.

It started yesterday, when the phone would reboot every time I tried to connect to a Wifi source. Then this morning, the phone got stuck in Airplane Mode. Tried to reset the phone, but it is now stuck in Boot loop. Its gonna take awhile to fix this ...

Yes, custom ROM. My Nandroid backup was out because it was stored in the Micro SD Card and that got corrupted, but I was lucky: A couple of times rebooting thru the phone's system menu (Power Button plus Down Volume), and the phone rebooted ...
