75mb internal memory. Patay. He he he. Remind me of my 7" ZTE V9. Ganun ba kamahal ang memory at sobrang kuripot ng mga low end phone manufacturers?

No, I think the internal storage is 4GB, not 75MB. Sobrang baba naman nun. Frankly I didn't notice that info from the videos ...

Antutu said, 75mb of 500mb. Clear as day he he. Typical of China phone ang ganyan kababa. Yung iPhoney 5 ko mga ganyan din ang internal space. My ZTE V9 90mb to play with. Hindi ko nga maisip why they do this.

pwede siya i-repartition and also you can set the downloaded apps to install directly to sdcard basta rooted ang phone.

Yes. I did that with my ZTE. Link2sd. Still the internal space gets written over with some code. Mabilis din mapuno. You cannot fill up the external sd card with apps. Useless if you intend to use the sd only for apps.

I think the reason for the low available memory is because the user had installed a lot of apps already, kaya 75MB na lang ang available. I assume na yung user-available memory is really 500MB. Mas mababa kesa sa 1GB ng A919, but still okay. But definitely you won't be able to mount as many apps as you could on an A919.

Does this mean you can increase the user-available memory from the current 500MB to at least 1GB? Matrabaho lang ata, and ang experience ko sa mga patches or modifications sa firmware e either madalas buggy, or kaya me compatibility problems.

500mb free space is plenty for a Link2SD setup. In my experience apps still put 5-15mb of code on the internal memory even with Link2sd activated. The balance is saved on the sd card. So yes, you can put a lot of apps in a 500mb Link2sd setup.

Yung 75mb, less than 10 apps lang iyan even with Link2sd.

I think you got confused with the 75MB "Available Memory", Sir Gino. It only means the "Current Available Memory", after the user had already installed apps on the phone. Out from the box, the unit will not come with only 75MB user-available memory, it will come with approximately 500MB of user-available memory.

The video did not show the unit of out the box, I think he stitched together a couple of videos over a couple of days off to which he had installed a lot of apps.

I gave it as an example in illustrating the Link2sd setup. It's up to the buyer to inspect how much internal storage this phone has out of the box.

The Galaxy S Duos I will be getting next week has 4gb published internal space. Usable space as reported is 1.8gb only. I seems the OS used up the same space. It all depends on how the manufacturer reports the memory. Buy beware. Check what you are actually getting.

Well, CM did publish only the Total Internal storage, but not the user-available memory, but then again, most manufacturers don't usually do that, either. I usually only find out at the GSM Arena website. Here is a similar Antutu Benchmark info for the same device by a different user. I assume this also is not out of the box, and has user-downloaded apps already (taken from http://symphonyx7.hubpages.com/hub/C...TV-S320-Review).

Yes, it's actually easy to do, this is for chipsets with MTK6577 with 4Gb storage (Myphone A898, A919, CM's Titan, Starmobile Astra, etc.)

    Original thread here:
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1914184

My A898's on Yonip ROM, mag-3 months na and wala naman ako na-encounter major problem or compatibility problems.

Thanks for the tip. Really tempting, but I think I will wait awhile, Cherry Mobile is scheduled to make product announcements tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. Maybe they will be announcing other Phablets there, or they could just be officially announcing the S320 Titan TV also tomorrow.

The Chinese Quad-Core 1GB IPS Screen Phablets are coming soon also as they are already available in the mainland. Don't know when they will reach our shores, though. I think they will prioritize their local market there first before exporting them abroad ...

im gonna wait till they up the resolution even for a bit but on the same pricepoint..but that may take ages when the norm on branded phones are already at super hd level, though not sure if there would be any point to that lol, or hd screens are already at bargain prices for manufacturers

Budget Smartphones or Phablets here in the Philippines will always be a step behind than what is current in China. The reason why we are getting these sub USD 200 Smartphones/Phablets with Dual Core Processors and WVGA screens is because of the fact that in China they are already a step up with Quad-Core Processors and IPS screens. We will get those Quad-Core Processors and IPS screens at sub USD 200 once they move on to the next step in technology.

But the real issue for me, is are we getting a good enough experience at the price point we are getting right now? A decent screen, with fast UI and satisfactory gaming experience ... I'd say yes, especially if you don't have to shell out P20k+ for it. In fact, you only have to shell out 1/2, 1/3, or even 1/4 of the current top of the line Smartphones/Phablets out there.

Well, I finally made the big jump, and bought the CM S320 Titan TV, and I am quite pleased with it, actually. Pleased enough to have it in favor of my MyPhone A919. If anybody wants a three week old A919 with freebies, PM me ...

Fits the front pocket of my pants, but won't fit anymore the small cargo pocket of my cargo shorts. It is a bit big and heavy, has more discomfort factor (at least initially) compared to the more compact and lighter A919.

All the channels are grainy from my location (Bacoor, Cavite), some like Channels 7 and 23 are less grainier than others. I don't plan to use the Analog TV function, anyway. My complaint about the Antenna-Stylus is that it easily falls off the unit, it doesn't anchor as solidly as it should in place.

Having battery issues. Takes so long to charge whether phone is on or off (4 hours), and battery drain is quite fast when the screen is on. Take note, not just when gaming, but when the screen is on, like surfing over Wifi, etc.

Also jumping battery values, like when I rebooted recently, the battery went from 62% to 47%. I don't know if the issue is due to my rooting and modification of the phone or not ...

HOLD muna ang sale ng A919, he-he-he ...

I got more than 3 days of non-gaming applications (i.e., phone and text, surfing via Wifi, camera, etc.) on my A919. It was only when I started using games, when the battery starts to drain faster, around 2-3% every five minutes of gaming. But on this one, the drain was faster, even without gaming.

Storage OOTB is 500MB. One thing I liked about this was how when you set it to save on the SD Card, it will save on the EXTERNAL SD Card, unlike my A919 which kept saving on my Internal SD Card.

Calibrated it with the Nema Battery Calibration from the Playstore as soon as I started to see battery problems. The screenshot you saw was done AFTER I calibrated the battery.

get a Cloudfone 430X and start forgetting the battery, you can switch on whatever you want and still can go home with your battery 'alive' at the end of your day (or night)
